Amit Sadh Returns to Mumbai after 2 Months amid Lockdown 4.0; Reveals it was tough to leave the comfort of Hills!

Amit Sadh who left for Mukteshwar on March 16 with his friends was stuck on the hills for 2 months. After the nationwide lockdown was announced, the Actor was stuck on the hills and he finally returned back to Mumbai after 2 months. The Actor travelled 1,800 kms by road to return to Mumbai. 

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Amit mentioned that it was initially tough to make the decision of returning as they were very comfortable in the hills where there were no Covid-19 cases. However, later he felt that it's time to go back home. He also mentioned that his house help Prakash and his dogs were all alone and he was missing them and he wanted to give them a big hug once he reaches home. 

Lockdown 4.0 has brought certain relaxations for people to travel interstate by road. Amit Sadh added that those who are stuck in another states can now return home to their families. He said, "My return wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the administration of the Uttarakhand government, and they helped to get a permit to cross borders and took care of us."

He further added, "We were brain dead, and coronavirus has given us a wake-up call. It has shown us the harsh realities of life and the condition of the underprivileged people. If people still don’t learn from this, I don’t think they’ll ever change for the good."

He also mentioned that the past two months made him realise that work is not everything. He said that living life is more important that acquiring things to making money or career. "We’ve to be more empathetic and compassionate towards those who are suffering," he added.
