Actor Amit Sadh has followed the footsteps of Aamir Khan and decided to quit social media. The actor, who enjoys more than one million followers on Instagram has announced that he will no longer be sharing any pictures or videos on his profile.

The reason behind Amit’s reason will inspire you. In a lengthy note, he shared how the rising  number of Covid-19 cases in the country have had him reflect on his privileges and he has vowed to not showcase his gym videos or other posts on social media.

Amit began by writing: “I am Going Offline. “The recent events have me reflect on whether I should be posting my pictures and reels. Especially when my city Mumbai and the entire state is under strict COVID-19 restrictions, the whole country is going through a difficult time. I believe my posts and reels of the gym sessions, the silly things I do will not heal or entertain anyone. This is not a criticism to anyone, I personally feel the best way to be sensitive about a situation is to pray and hope for things to get better.”

He added, “Life must go on even though I feel burdened. I am disheartened when we do not acknowledge the seriousness and do not address it. We cannot behave everything is okay; this is a pandemic.”

The actor informed his fans that while he is going offline, he is always open for a conversation in his DM and they can reach out to him.

"A special note for his fans, I am not abandoning you guys; you all know I will never do it. When a need for conversation arises, reach out to me on my dm like you all usually do. I am here but will not be posting quotes, pictures or reels. I personally feel this is not the time for me to show my privileged life," he further said.

xxMATSxx 9 days ago Respectable decision but its more of making a statement. No outcome will occur in him going off of social media. Change will only come if government does something about it and people themselves become more respsonsible. Staying ofd social media and not depicting going to the gym is not gona to make a difference if he himself is going to abstain going out. Which i doubt hell do.
