IPL Rockstar on COLORS is now moving forward by just 10 contestants as Mohammad Irfan and recently Amit Paul got eliminated from the show. We talked to Amit Paul about his experience and elimination from the show.
He also found the concept of IPL Rockstar, performing before the IPL match in front of cricket fans something very different and appealing. But comparitively, the enthusiasm and attachment to Indian Idol is more for him, and feels that it was that a platform that gave him an opportunity to be part of IPL Rockstar.
He also asserted that, "This is not the first time I was interacting with the live audience. But singing for the cricket fans who are already so high on spirit, just boosted our moral to a greater extent. By listening to their cheers we used to forget that we are performing in a competition."
When inquired about the weakest and strongest participants he replied that, "Basically channel has selected very good singers for the show, so all are good in their own way. But as per the previous performances I would say firstly my performance was the weakest and next I would say Sandeep Acharya could have done better. And then in the later category I feel Aishwarya and Antara are strong contenders in the show".
Finally he wrapped up saying that he will appear soon with the launch of his solo album, which is filled with romantic numbers...
