Alia Bhatt Birthday: sister Pooja Bhatt dedicates a special post for Alia; says “you make us all so damn proud”

Today, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt turned a year older and the diva continues to receive wishes from all corners. The 28-year-old actress has impressed the audience with her performance in some of the most critically acclaimed films which have raised the audience’s expectations from her.

Alia’s parents have been proud of her journey, but her sister Pooja Bhatt is rather astonished by her achievements on the professional front. Taking to her Instagram handle, Pooja dedicated a post to her dearest sister and penned a short note for her.

“The girl I will always see off-screen before she transforms like a chameleon into the dazzling array of women she gives life to on-screen! Happy Birthday Alia.. you make us all so damn proud!” wrote Pooja Bhatt as she shared a picture of Alia behind the sets of a film as her make-up team prepares the actress for her performance.

In a career span of 9-years, Alia has impressed the fans with her performance in critically acclaimed films, including Imtiaz Ali's Highway (2014), Abhishek Choubey's Udta Punjab (2016) and Meghna Gulzar's Raazi (2018), among others. The actress who was launched by Karan Johar made her debut with Student of the Year, co-starring Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.

Until recently, Alia ventured into production as she launched her own production company called Eternal Sunshine Productions, she hopes to make 'happy films under her banner.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt has a number of films in the pipeline. The actress juggling between Ayan Mukherjee helmed Brahmastra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
