Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for its upcoming Original Hindi series, "Big Girls Don't Cry." This vibrant young-adult series boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Avantika Vandanapu, Aneet Padda, Dalai, Vidushi, Lhakyila, Afrah Sayed, and Akshita Sood in lead roles. The series also features notable performances by Pooja Bhatt, Raima Sen, Zoya Hussain, and Mukul Chadda in pivotal roles.

The trailer offers a sneak peek into the boarding life at the prestigious Vandana Valley, where a group of seven girls is gearing up for their final year with the intention of ruling the campus. The narrative introduces an outsider, Kavya Yadav, hoping to make friends and navigate the complexities of school life. Each character has distinct aspirations – Noor aims for the school captaincy, Ludo is vying for the sports captaincy, Roohi and JC are focused on their beauty business, Pluggy has grand plans of her own, and rebel-poet Dia contemplates crossing the school boundaries before the bell rings.

Pooja Bhatt, essaying the role of the principal, Anita Verma, expressed her enthusiasm for the series, citing its compelling story, setting, and character development. The characters undergo a journey of self-discovery, challenging gender biases and stereotypes, making them positive role models for the audience.

Avantika, portraying the character of Ludo, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with exceptional women like Nitya Mehra and Ashi Dua, emphasizing the joy of collaborating with her co-stars. Aneet, in the role of Roohi, shared her affinity for coming-of-age stories, resonating with the journey of self-discovery and identity.

Dalai, who plays Pluggy, described the coming-of-age experience within a sisterhood as mysterious, magical, and fun. Vidushi, as Kavya, highlighted the rewarding experience of portraying an ordinary girl pursuing extraordinary dreams while balancing family expectations.
