Ali Abbas Zafar REVEALS why Priyanka Chopra backed out from Bharat!

Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif has been grabbing eyeballs with performance and elegant looks in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next Bharat. The film also stars Salman Khan and Disha Patani. Meanwhile, the fans are quite excited about the film to release. 

However, initially, the superstar was all set to share the screen with Priyanka Chopra. The actress made a sudden exit from the project a short while before it could go on floors.

This led the rumors to set ablaze about bad blood being spilled between the director and PC, Ali maintained that all was well between them. 

During a recent media interaction, the director spoke openly about Chopra’s exit and the one thing he told Katrina before she signed on for the film.

He said, “I think Katrina has put in a lot of hard work. When the script went to her after Priyanka couldn’t do the film because she was getting married, I told one thing to Katrina that I am not going to change anything. 

"I wrote this script without keeping any actor in mind, then Priyanka came on board and now you are doing this part. So, we are not changing anything. She loved the script, she jumped into it and I think she has done a fabulous job.”

In a social media interaction with the fans, Salman and Katrina also addressed Priyanka's exit from the film. Without twisting his words, Salman simply said, “Priyanka didn’t give us much time.”

On the other hand, Katrina mentioned she had two months to prepare for the role and added that once they nailed the physicality and hair, the other aspects of her character fell into place.
