Akbar Birbal to see a female Birbal!

Big Magic's Akbar Birbal, has been successfully tickling the funny bones of the audience for a long time. And now, Roop Durgapal is going to join the cast of Kiku Sharda, Vishal Kotianand and Sara Khan.

The actress has been roped in for a special episode of Akbar Birbal. Roop will be seen donning the get up of Birbal for one episode. Here's a sneak peak of her look in the show.

We contacted Roop, who told us,"It is a special entry. I don't normally do an episodic, but this one interested me. Birbal is known to be witty and intelligent. And I had to learn a few traits of him as well."

The actress who has been a part of shows like Swaragini and Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, wishes to do only important roles. "I want to do prominent roles from now on. The role should have a lot of importance, should be fresh and positive. Only then will I do it. I have done enough negative roles and they are a strict no-no for me."

The special episode featuring the actress will be telecasted tomorrow.
