Akanksha Puri shoots with real weapons for Vighnaharta Ganesh

Knowing self Defense has become a necessity in today’s world. Vighnaharta Ganesh’s Parvati aka Akansha Puri is a followable example when it comes to this. The actress is a trained user of weapons and especially qualified in the art of self-defense.  Now, this special training of hers has come in utilization for her character of Parvati.

Sony Entertainment Television’s Vighnaharta Ganesh is one amongst the most followed mythological shows and actors too, are not leaving any stones un-turned. In the ongoing track we see Maa Parvati in her various avatars fighting Bhandasur and his army. Akanksha is shooting for 12-15 hours daily on an average and can be seen performing stunts for her sequence. When Akanksha got to know that she has to shoot fight sequences with weapons, she herself approached the makers to use real weapons as they would be more impactful in the minds of the audiences.

Akanksha Puri shared her experience on the same and said, “When I got to know that I would be using weapons I got really excited. After so many years, my training would finally come in use for something that matters so much in my life. I am an action lover and always look forward to shooting such scenes. I really enjoyed shooting these fight sequences and even gave my inputs to the director during the shoot.”
