Ajaz Khan tests positive for Covid-19 after his arrest by NCB in a drug case!

Bollywood and Television actor Ajaz Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) last Wednesday (March 31, 2021) in connection to the ongoing drugs case that emerged out of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. 

Now, according to recent reports, the actor has tested positive for Covid-19 and he is being shifted to a hospital and the officer involved in this probe will also undergo a Covid-19 test, reported ANI. 

''Actor Ajaz Khan, who was arrested by Narcotics Contro Bureau (NCB) in a drug case, has tested positive for COVID-19. He is being shifted to a hospital. The officer involved in this probe will also undergo COVID test: NCB'', news agency ANI reported in a tweet on Monday.

The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested actor Ajaz Khan last Wednesday, in connection with an ongoing drugs case that emerged out of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. 

Khan was initially detained by the NCB Mumbai zonal unit on Tuesday after he landed at the city airport. The actor’s name cropped up during the interrogation of arrested drug peddler Shadab Batata.

Ajaz, during his interrogation, was questioned by the NCB at its office in south Mumbai and his statement was recorded late Tuesday night. After examining his role in the crime, he was reportedly placed under arrest. A city court remanded Khan to the custody of the NCB till April 3.
