Aishwarya Sakhuja's new role in Zyada Mat Udd brings back her childhood dream of Flying

Popular TV actress Aishwarya Sakhuja, known for her roles in Saas Bina Sasural, Main Naa Bholungi, and Yeh Hai Chahatein, is back on screen with Colors TV’s new show Zyada Mat Udd, which premiered on March 8. She stars alongside Helly Shah and Shehzad Shaikh, playing Shilpa Srivastava, a strict and confident cabin crew head. Interestingly, her character once dreamed of becoming an actress but never got the chance.

In a recent chat, Aishwarya revealed that she once wanted to be an air hostess in real life. She recalled, "I still remember when I participated in Miss India. After the pageant, we were offered a chance to join Air India. But my father didn’t approve, and I was really upset that I couldn't go for it."

When asked if she felt any pressure playing this role, she confidently said, "Not at all. I don’t even know what stereotypes people associate with this job. Being an air hostess is a respectable profession that offers exciting experiences every day."

Talking about her TV comeback, she added, "I don’t stress over expectations. People who liked my work before will still support me because I always give my best. I believe in destiny—what’s meant for me will happen."

As for whether she added any personal touches to her role, she teased, "People who know me will recognize it when they watch the show. I won’t say much, but I promise it’ll be fun to watch!"

Zyada Mat Udd is a story follows Goldie Khurana (played by Shehzad Shaikh), who always assumed his inheritance was secure—until life took an unexpected turn. After his father’s sudden passing, Goldie, the heir to Air-Aasman Airlines, realizes that his position at the top isn’t guaranteed after all.
