Yeh Hai Chahatein’s Aishwarya Sakhuja and producer Rohit Nag have been married for 6 years now. When asked about embracing parenthood, seeing the current scenario of the world, it is a big no for the couple.

Aishwarya revealed there is a lot going on around the world and lesser is better. When asked if Aishwarya and Rohit are planning to embrace parenthood, the actress replied, “Corona has taught us to be happy with whatever you have. With what’s happening all around the world, lesser is better. So ‘Hum do hamare no’.

While talking about marital life, Aishwarya shared, “It’s been a mad journey… mad roller-coaster ride. Someone told me when I was getting married. ‘Nothing prepares you for marriage and I was like ‘Ah! I got it’. But when a boy and girl start staying together, we had our share of differences. We took a while to understand each other though we dated each other for 6 years before getting married. It was like a jigsaw puzzle that Rohit and I were trying to put together in the first year of our married life. There are times when you still try to figure out what the other person is thinking. He has made me learn a lot.”

The lockdown period has also been a revelation to Aishwarya. She said, “I am extremely surprised that we have been able to divide our chores. And we are working without killing each other. Hats off to us and big round of applause to Aishwarya and Rohit. He has taken over the cooking and utensils department and I have taken the cleaning and dusting part.”

Aishwarya rose to fame playing the role of Toasty in Saas Bina Sasural and is currently seen playing a negative role in Ekta Kapoor helmed Yeh Hai Chahatein.
