After small screen, Siddharth Ashoka Nigam to play lead on the Big Screen!

Siddharth Nigam debuts in King's Entertainment's film "Tez Raftaar"!

Siddharth Nigam known for playing the role of Ashoka in Indian historical drama 'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' (Colors) has bagged the lead role in the film and interestingly his parents will feature in the film too alongside him.

Siddharth, a fitness enthusiast in his real life, is playing a state level athlete in the film too and he says "It's a different kind of a challenge to play this lead character in the film & I feel excited & proud to have been able to bag this opportunity to play the lead alongside one of the finest professionals in the film industry. I thank my Producers Kaushik & Kingshuk Goon and Director Sunanda Mitrato to have invested his faith in me & provided this fantastic opportunity & I will leave no stone unturned to justify their trust in me"

The film "Tez Raftaar" revolves around a slum boy who is born in a squalid and overcrowded urban street around people who are deprived of basic needs of life. To his luck he is speckled by a renowned coach who trains him to become a state level athlete. The story revolves around his struggles and aspirations to achieve his goals and carve a name for him.

Producer Kaushik Goon & Kingshuk Goon says "The film is a unique story which also marks the debut of the current television star Siddharth Nigam. The way he has shown his brilliance on television, I am sure he will win the hearts of his fans with this film. We have a talented bunch of cast and crew who will work to their perfection"

Star cast also includes popular names like Sameer Soni, Hrishita Bhatt, Jannat Zubair Rahmani, Mushtaq Khan, Debadyuti Debnath, Aanjjan Srivastav.

Watched his performance in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat...He is fabulous...But what made me comment here is the title of the article itself-Siddharth Ashoka Nigam. Seems Ashoka is added to his name. He will be Ashoka for many. Shows his mettle as an actor. Truly talented . Wishing him good luck for the new venture but want him to be in TV also.
