After Mohsin-Shivangi, Harsha Khandeparkar and Simran Khanna to exit ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’

Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has been in the news for quite sometime now. The show is slated to take a leap. Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi who play the characters of Kartik and Naira in the show will soon exit paving way for new cast to take over the legacy. As reported exclusively by India Forums, actresses Karishma Sawant and Pranali Rathod have been roped in to play the characters of Aarohi and Akshara while speculations are rife about Harshad Chopra being roped in to play grown-up Kairav in the show.

Mohsin and Shivangi have already shot for their last day on the sets of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Apart from Mohsin Shivangi, child actors will also be eased out of the show.

Now, India Forums have exclusively learned that actress Simran Khanna who plays the character of Gayu in the show and Harsha Khandeparkar who plays the character of Keerti in the show have been eased out of the show because of the changes in the script. A source said, “The makers didn’t find it feasible making the young actresses age on-screen and hence they decided to ease them from the show”.

On her exit, Simran said, “Well, I’d done few shows before but still got to learn many new things from the show and I’ll cherish all the learnings and the memories. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ will always be close to my heart”.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut productions. It has a stellar star cast including actors like Mohisn Khan, Shivangi Joshi, Sachin Tyagi, Niyati Joshi, Simran Khanna among others.
