It seems that before singer and host Aditya Narayan actually hangs up his boots as an anchor, he is making the most of it. As one would remember, only recently it was confirmed by Narayan that he would stop taking up anchoring assignments on TV 2022 onwards but only after he completes his pending commitments.

And while Indian Idol 12 is now finally coming to a wrap after being almost eight months on-air, Narayan has an instant hosting assignment ready in the form of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's upcoming season.

Talking about it with ETimes, Narayan said, “Before I start shooting for a new show, I have to trick my brain into believing that this is the first-ever reality show I am hosting. Fortunately, I have done that convincingly in the past. My brain has been fooled so far and that’s exactly what I am going to do again (laughs!).”

About Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, he said, “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is home-grown, so the approach towards hosting the show is also slightly more Hindustani, with a little more emphasis on Hindi and the dialect. I will watch the previous two seasons, which I didn’t host, to understand where they have taken the show and try to incorporate my own two cents into it. If it doesn’t have my stamp and personality, anyone else can host it.”

Well, it is certainly a boon for his fans who can still relish his hosting skills while they last.
