Aditya Roy Kapoor to Marry in 2020? Breaks His Silence and Reveals his Mom's Reaction to his Marriage News

Aditya Roy Kapur who is one of the most eligible bachelor of Bollywood has been making headlines for marriage! The actor won hearts with his spectacular performance in Aashiqui 2 and since then there has been no looking back for him. While his professional life has been sailing smooth, there were reports about his personal life too going on the right track and that he shall soon be tying the knot with his alleged girlfriend, model Diva Dhawan!

Since the news broke out, fans have been waiting with bated breath for Aditya to make an official announcement about the same!

As per reports making rounds, Aditya might be tying the knot with his american model Diva Dhawan this year, i.e. before the end of 2020. However, it seems the reports aren't true and that the Kalank star has no plans in settling down at this point.

In a recent interview, Aditya opened up and spoke at length about the rumors revolving his marriage and that the news spread so fast like a wild fire that his mother asked him for a clarification. The rumours got so much traction that his mother called him up to ask about it.

He said that he informed his mother that he is not dating anyone. When being asked about his marriage plans, Aditya said that the topic has not been on his mind. He added that he does not plan far ahead and waits for it to happen organically.

On Karan Johar's chat show, when Aditya was asked about Diva, he said,

She’s a lovely girl and an old friend. We met at a fashion show many years ago and we are good friends. We went out for dinner one night at this famous restaurant that everyone is going to nowadays. So we got papped and stories started.

Last year, Diva sparked rumours when she shared a photo of herself kissing a man. Fans immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was Aditya. Meanwhile, Aditya has often been linked to his Aashiqui 2 co-star Shraddha Kapoor. Rumour has it that the two called it quits in 2015.

On the work front, Aditya is gearing up for his upcoming film, Malang where he will be seen alongside Disha Patani and the film also stars Anil Kapoor and Kunal Khemmu in pivotal roles. The film's poster was recently released which had Aditya and Disha locking lips and within minutes the sizzling poster went viral on social media. Apart from appreciating the poster, a few netizens also created hilarious memes around it.

After Malang, Aditya will be seen in 'Sadak 2' starring alongside Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt. He is also a part of Anurag Kashyap's multi-starrer 'Ludo'.
