Adhyayan Suman opens up on nepotism saying how it never benefited him

Adhyayan Suman, who is gearing up for the much-anticipated third season of 'Aashram,' revealed that despite being an industry insider, things have not gone as well for him as one might expect given the debate surrounding nepotism. 

He stated that the audience has the ultimate power, and that no amount of money spent on publicity or campaigns can truly shape an actor's or actress's career if the audience is unwilling to see them and their work. 

At a press event for 'Aashram 3,' the actor said that he had never benefited from nepotism. What or who will work is entirely dependent on the audience. He believes that the debate over nepotism has always been pointless . 

To explain this further he also gave a recent example, saying, Kartik Aaryan is getting as much love for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' as Alia Bhatt is getting for 'Gangubai Kathiwadi.' In this day and age, talent and content reign supreme." 

Talking about 'Aashram,' the crime drama series directed and produced by Prakash Jha is about the intersection of blind faith and politics. 

It stars Bobby Deol as the lead, and also stars Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Tushar Pandey, Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Vikram Kochhar, Tridha Choudhury, Rajeev Siddhartha, Sachin Shroff, Anurita Jha, Parinitaa Seth, Jahangir Khan, Kanupriya Gup in important roles.

The third season of the series will be available on MX Player on June 3.
