Actress Jaya Bhattacharya bereaved!

Actress Jaya Bhattacharya, who was last seen in Colors' Thapki... Pyaar Ki, lost her mother yesterday morning. The actress' mother was hospitalised due to prolonged illness.

Jaya's mother who was 79 years old, was suffering from a heart ailment and had been keeping unwell since November last year and was admitted to the hospital. Jaya announced the sad news to her family and close ones via a text message.

The actress' mother was cremated last night at 9:30pm.
