Actor Sai Ketan Rao opens up about the story behind changing his last name

Sai Ketan Rao is known for his acting performances in web shows such as Three Half Bottles, Aham Bramhasmi, and TV shows such as Agni Sakshi and Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali. The actor received immense love and support from his fans for portraying Raghav Rao in the show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali

The actor recently opened up about the fact that his real name and screen name is different. Sai says, "Rao is my screen name and my real surname is Khadsay, it is a Maharashtrian name as I am from a Maharashtrian background."

He furthermore shared the story behind the name change. The actor added, "My family roots are in Telugu and Hindi and also I was emotionally very close to my maternal Grandfather and his surname is Rao. So after his passing, I decided to take up his surname and that’s how it became Sai Ketan Rao"

On the professional front, it is rumored that Sai will be seen starring opposite Khushi Dubey in Gul Khan's cop based show for Hotstar.
