Acting was there in my mind since I was four- Eisha Singh

Colors have given many new talent a platform and recognition and is back again with another charming face. Newbie Eisha Singh has got a chance to get fame from upcoming show Ishq Ka Rang Safed.

We got in touch with Eisha to know about his debut show and more.

How did this show happen to you?

My uncle is doing Chidiya Ghar and he told me that they are looking for a girl who can play this character. I was at Bhopal and they sent me the script. I recorded my audition at my place itself and after a month, I got a call that I have been finalized. It was like a dream come true because I was not expecting it.

Was acting always there in your mind?

Yes, acting was there in my mind since I was four. Then as I was growing, my desire to become actress increased and this audition came across when I was trying to chose a path for my future. But since acting was my passion, I really wanted to do this role.

What attracted you towards this role?

Dhani is completely opposite of Eisha and so it was a challenge for me to do this role. Eisha is a loud and fun loving girl, but Dhani is a girl who is bounded by many restrictions and is a soft spoken girl.  So whenever I am doing my roles, I try to control my smile because I have got a very smiling face which I had to tone down while shooting.

How did you prepare yourself for the role?

I saw few movies, I went to the Aashrams in Banaras, then my Naniji was also a widow whom I remember while doing any scene. I also observed widows in Haridwar that what are their problems and how they live.

How did your parents' reacted when they got to know about your role?

The best part is that is that I am very lucky because my parents always support me for everything. They are taking lots of efforts for me as they had to migrate from Bhopal and get settle in Mumbai which is quite difficult.
