Abhilasha Jakhar to Join Avinesh Rekhi in ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’

After launching supernatural dramas like Vish and Kavach 2, Colors is coming up with a new show titled Choti Sarrdaarni. The show starring Avinesh Rekhi and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, has been already creating a buzz with its first promo. The promo stirred a controversy when the President of ‘All India Sikh Students Federation’ Satnam Singh Gambhir wrote to Colors channel protesting the promo stating that it hurts Sikh sentiments. 

Now, the latest buzz about the show is that another actress is set to join the cast of the show.

According to reports, actress Abhilasha Jakhar who was last seen in Meri Durga has been roped for Colors’ Choti Sarrdaarni. The upcoming show produced by Cockcrow Productions and Shaika Films, will be based in Punjab. The show will also feature actors Anita Raj, Amal Sehrawat, Hitesh Bharadwaj, Shivendraa Om Saainiyol and Pawan Mahendru in pivotal roles.

Abhilasha started her career with Pavitra Bandhan and went on to appear in Star Plus’ popular show Saath Nibhana Saathiya.
