Aaapke line mein toh 'sexy' bulana chalta hai: Jennifer Mistry on police against her Asit Modi case

Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who has been making headlines after she alleged Asit Modi, the producer of her show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, of misconduct and inappropriate behaviour, revealed how her case is not going anywhere and that the police, very subtly, have been giving her hints to take the case back and have also been troubling her. 

Talking to us about how the police have been harassing her, the actress said, ''Ever since I have complained, I am being harassed in very subtle ways. The police go ahead to say things like, 'Mam, why are you filing this case, witness toh palate jaate hai,' 'Arre mam, isme toh bahut time lagta hai 5 saal baad dates aati hai,' 'Aapko bar aana padega aur pata nahi aapko kab balayage,' 'Aapke line mein toh sexy bulana chalta hai,' they discourage me in such ways.  From the third of July till today, they have been asking me for audio proofs and asking me to transcribe the audio and send them. Those audios are of more than 20 minutes, and they want me to transcribe each and every word. It was very disheartening, and I fell sick. My lawyer asked me not to transcribe the audios and told me that this is not even my work.''

Further, the actress stated how there has been no support from the police and how they have been subtly hinting at her to take the case back. Jennifer said, ''Yes, they have been making an indirect pressure on me to take the case back, stating things like 'Aap kahan time waste kar rahe ho,' and because I am not taking a step back, they are now asking me to transcribe audios and harass me. My FIR, too, was not filed completely.''

She later added that she believes there is Asit Modi's involvement in all of this and said, ''100 per cent, there is his involvement here, who else will it be? Every time I come back from the police station, they call me and then point out loopholes; looks like someone calls them in that time period, and then they do this to me.''
