A STARRY ensemble cast is being roped in for Star Network's next!

Producer Aniruddh Pathak is all set and ready to present his upcoming venture which will be based on Adi Guru Shankaracharya.

While it is still being decided on which channel will the show telecast (most probably on Star Bharat), it is certain that its a project for Star Network.

For the project, a starry ensemble cast is being roped which includes the likes of actors like Rajit Kapur, Vidya Malvade, Bhagyashree and Amit Khanna.

According to reports, Rajit will play the character of Kumarila Bhatta, while Bhagyashree plays Shankaracharya's mother. Vidya will be playing the role of Ubhaya Bharti, while Amit will Mandana Misra.

The casting for the project is in full force and it is slated to hit the screens by January.
