A few weeks into telecast; Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 sees it's first replacement!

Star Plus' Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has had one of the biggest openings on Indian television in the recent times. While there was some backlash and comparisons initially, over the weeks, not only the leads, but also other actors have been loved for their respective portrayals.

However, all too soon the show will see a replacement.

According to reports, actress Upasana Salunkhe, who is seen playing Tapur Basu in the show, has been replaced, due to performance related issues'.

Upasana will be replaced by actress Priyal Mahajan and Kasautii... will serve as Priyal's full fledged acting debut.

Priyal has already started shooting for the show.

While the opening week did see a lot of comparisons between the reboot and its original, the audience has accepted the former and are enjoying watching Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
