Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai on Sony TV has completed one year since it first aired, and while fhe the show isn't very high on numbers, it does in fact have a good fan following.

And while the fans can list down a thousand reasons, we came up with 5 reasons why the story of Naina (Ashi Singh) and Sameer (Randeep Rai) is pure gold.

A love story that is unconventional

In current day and age, a love story like Naina and Sameer isn't very conventional. While the time and setting of the story is definitely different. And, the kind of chemistry they share, is what adds to make for the perfect story.

Less drama, more content

It is after all a daily soap, but there isn't anything close to daily soaps that we see. Though there are certain scenes and moments that do come across as unrealistic, but it does still manage to be relatable to both the teenagers and to the elders.

Away from the race of TRPs

Shows change their tracks, and bring in story lines that will cater to the TRPs and give them some points. But, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai has stayed away from all of it, and has kept the viewers engaged with the content as well as the cast.

Fast paced and yet easy going

We've seen Naina and Sameer's relationship evolve from a school love story to that of complications in college life, and yet, there's not a moment that came across as monotonous and boring.

The cast - Apt and entertaining

When the show first came, not many would have thought that the show would do so well despite not having any stellar name in the cast. And right now, the leads Ashi and Randeep make for few of the best actors on the Television screen.
