5 reasons why we think Digangana Suryavanshi's stint on Bigg Boss 9 did not work.

1. The youngest of the lot.

Digangana was 17 years old, when she entered the Bigg Boss House till 15th October 2015, when she turned 18. However, she still remains the youngest contestant on the show, which actually worked to her disadvantage as she took prolonged time to adapt to the chaotic situations and heated issues in the house. Also the other housemates were unable to relate to her due to the age difference.

2. Dominated by other inmates at times.

Her naivety on the show became quite evident when her rare opinions and actions were suppressed at various instances by other inmates, who influenced her very easily. Also time and again, they kept remarking about her being too young and immature.

3. Lack of screen presence.

Her lack of participation in various conversations and not being able to put up her stand, was one of the prime reasons for her departure. Digangana failed to deliver the spice element, which is very essential for a show like this.

4. Failing to capitalize on an opportunity.

One of the most highlighting reasons of her eviction could be termed as her failing to capitalize on the opportunity provided to her. Actor Puneet Vashisht's entry as a wild card into the house was a storming one and his comment about Digangana's parents coming to meet him at his place and requesting to take care of their daughter sparked a major opportunity for her to put forward her stand and also come across as a powerful contestant. Instead, she reacted to the issue rather casually with the matter fading away too soon.

5. Health issues.

Apart from opportunistic reasons, there were inevitable reasons too leading to her screen absence. Her health started deteriorating soon after she entered the show to an extent, that she stopped participating in the luxury budget tasks, as she was suffering from typhoid. Being in the house for 8 weeks, she remained ill during most of the time.
