30 Thoughts that crossed our mind while watching the 'LEAP' episode of Kuch Rang...!

Sony TV's Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke has captivated one and all with its daily dose of drama. 

Sonakshi not being able to conceive led to a lot of disappointments between Dev and Sonakshi's family and their married life. The only things which maintained monotony in the show were fights, shouts, insults, forgiveness, and business.

But Kuch Rang...yet again took us by surprise by introducing an unexpected turn with a leap of 7 years!

Generally, divorces could uproot a couple's life but the show gives a fresh take of how people move on in life and so do their families.

They introduced Sonakshi as a bossy and independent woman than a hurt and emotionally weak woman. Erica Fernandes has bounced back and how! The dialogue 'mein decision lene mein 5 minute se zyada barbad nahi karti..' gave us the feel of a woman who knows what she wants. 

Sonakshi's parents, especially her mom seems to have accepted the fact that her child is divorced and why cry over spilt milk?

Soon, there is an introduction to this really cute girl referring to Sonakshi as mom! Hey... wasn't she infertile? This is going to be interesting.

Sonakshi's Miss Bose is every bit her mother and supports her Dadaji who doesn't want to send her to Delhi.

Now back to Dilwalo ki Delhi with the same old montage of India gate and the famous Hanumanji statue. Entering was the villainous Radha Rani but this time in her gold laden jewelry behaving every inch that she has always been. Somethings never change...oh..and a new character alert aka Mr. Gobbar, the right hand of the 'garib ki beti'.

Back to the Bose house, Sonakshi and Suhana have a 'maa beti milap' and Sonakshi has her cool spectacles on because intelligent people wear spectacles right?! And they also cut their hair short. Perfect, we like this look.

Hinting a little close to Sonakshi's past, Miss Senior Bose thinks that the Junior Bose is ready to take it all! (Yea...Anjali from 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' was ready too on her 8th birthday..kids these days...)

We have seen enough of Sonakshi so far to figure out what she has been doing from the past 7 years but Dev? Where is Dev Dixit?

Back to Delhi, Golu (just as the name suggests, he is cute and chubby) is introduced and Radha Rani loves him.  

And now it seems that Golu was born because Elena's mother-in-law changed her contraceptive pills, after all, what are MIL's for? Vicky and Elena are independent parents who put their career before family just like they do in the case of Golu.

Back in Kolkata, Sonakshi is talking to Junior Bose about her 7-year journey and about her 'Papa' in Delhi...too much for a 7-year-old, isn't it?

And then she talks about how Dev was a 'prince charming' and hey, the frog joke? Guess now Suhana will understand it better...Of course Sonakshi has to go to Delhi to solve her problem as there have been 'trust issues' in the past, glad it happened in the first episode itself!

And there is no sign of Dev yet? 

Okay, so our hottie is spineless and rude now. Ouch!!!

Okay..so now Dadi is not accompanying Golu with a silly excuse and we will finally get to see his bade chachu, Dev! But hey...we zoom into Ishwari and she still has the poker face

Hey wait, did she just say that Dev has not come home from 7 YEARS!!! WHERE IS DEV DIXIT!!!

Back in Kolkata, there is a BIG revelation - Sonakshi was pregnant during the divorce. The doctors were wrong. hawww!!!

No wonder why this was one of the most loved shows...there is no 'Door ho ja meri nazron se' melodrama... but there is 'tum tumhare papa ke saath jaisa relationship rakhna chahti ho rakh sakti ho...' such a progressive approach. *Claps*

We see an impeccable understanding between Suhana Bose and Sonakshi who has agreed to let her daughter speak to Dev as and when she wants and they promise both of them will never force each other.

'Faisla chhota ho ya bada... 5 min se zyada time nahi lagati...' #likemotherlikedaughter...I am loving the pace already!

Dev Dixit Dev Dixit!! Cmon yaar jaldi karo!

No yaar...wapas Golu.

Okay, Jaya Bachchan from 'K3G' feels...helicopter nahi bike hi sahi...

And finally, he is here!!! DEV, DEV, DEV!!!

Dev to Golu's rescue and the Delhi aunties drooling in the background...Hai Allah!

So far so good, and we think that Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi has introduced a very interesting leap compared to other shows where character introductions take as long as a week or more. We can't wait to see Sonakshi and Dev come face to face!!!
