The never-before-seen clip of 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,' a sequel to 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,' was previewed to a crowded audience at CinemaCon, the yearly exposition trade show currently happening in Las Vegas, according to 'Variety.' They're also increasing the death toll. The first film had 40 characters, but the sequel has 240.

Following the critical and commercial success of 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,' the filmmakers pumped up a mass of people including cinema owners by showing an exclusive peek at the first 15 minutes of the follow-up 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.'

According to 'Variety,' producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have also revealed that the next installment, previously referred to as 'Part II,' will be termed 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.'

'Across the Spider-Verse' shall continue Miles Morales' story (voiced by Shameik Moore). Before revealing the sequel to the viewing public, Lord and Miller razzed some details about it. The new film will take place in six different universes.

The footage shown to theatre owners was so raw that the computer-generated graphics were not in their complete version. Lord and Miller will have lots of time to fine-tune the animation. 'Across the Spider-Verse' is not scheduled to be released until June 2, 2023, and 'Beyond the Spider-Verse' is not scheduled to be released until March 29, 2024.
