Rithvik Dhanjani hosts Bindass' Yeh Hai Aashiqui
Remember our last report on Disney Bindass' Yeh Hai Aashiqui (Lost Boy Productions/ BBC Worldwide) anchor Vikrant Massey's truant behavior?
If not, not to worry for here's the recap' of our earlier story.
We had reported about Vikrant being a bad boy' on the sets of Yeh Hai Aashiqui by absconding from the scheduled shoots. And when contacted the actor he confessed that he wanted to quit the show as balancing his daily soap Qubool Hai and the Bindass project was getting really tough for him.
However, Vikrant is still a part of the show and they are trying to sort out issues with Massey and keep him on board.
But while all this is going on at the creative level there is some good news for all Rithvik Dhanjani fans.
The actor who is currently seen in Pavitra Rishta and is all set to dance with his real life partner Asha Negi on Star Plus' Nach Baliye recently anchored an episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
The artist was earlier seen acting in one of the episodes of the show however, this time he will be hosting it.
There is also a possibility of Rithvik being roped in as a permanent anchor of the show as a source tells us, "We are still trying to work out things with Vikrant but, if things don't fall in place we might rope in Rithvik permanently."
As per a reliable source, this one is an important story and Bollywood actor Imran Khan too will be seen promoting his upcoming flick Gori Tere Pyaar Mein in this particular episode. We had earlier reported about Imran coming in the show.
We tried contacting Rithvik and Producer Vikas Gupta but they remained unavailable for comment.
Rithvik Dhanjani Returns with Yeh Hai Aashiqui Season 2
Bindass is all set to gear up with the new season of Yeh Hai Aashiqui with Rithvik Dhanjani as host once again...
Season formats seem to be picking up on Indian Television and the latest show to join this list is none other than Yeh Hai Aashiqui. We hear that this show which ended on March 22 will be back with another season but with a new title Siyappa Ishq Ka.
The new season will be once against hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani who was seen as the anchor in the first season as well. The earlier season in fact had ended with Rithvik and Asha's own love story. Currently, Rithvik is garnering great reviews as an anchor on Nach Baliye 7 along with Karan Patel.
As per our source, "The show will go on air from 20 June with a 8.30pm time slot."
We got in touch with Rithvik who says, "I am really excited to host the show again"
Probe him about what's new in this season and he says, "The title itself is new and Siyappa means mess. In the upcoming season audience will get to see the love stories which will try to convey the message that if they are in love, then they should stand by their decision. Customs, traditions, etc should not matter more than love."
