Between Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor Who were the bigger Star

Although Ranbir is versatile actor but as a star Rishi Kapoor was part of some of the biggest hits at his time, he was that charming romantic guy often overshadowed by female lead but always maintained himself well, he delivered biggest solo hit of the 70s and was part of number of other big hits. He gave debut to Srk first film that initially helped to get him noticed early in his career as he was starring alongside of the top stars of the time. 

Ranbir Kapoor also charming and more versatile but has he surpassed his dad interms of number hits and as a star?

Rishi Kapoor is the answer . He was one of the only 10 actors in Bollywood who have 25 or more hits . His debut as a lead Bobby was that years biggest hit and probably the biggest hit in love story genre till date in Bollywood .

Let Ranbir reach the age of Rishi, he will also have the similar stardom as his dad. Ranbir is still young enough to get into the comparison.

Salman was a superstar from MPK days he gave several blockbusters one after the other..once a fanbase is made..it grows back after a lean period.

Rishi did his 80 th  feature film as a hero ,when he was 40😲..the 80th film was Deewana.

The superstars  have worked in huge number of films to reach where they are.They have a large body of work.

I wonder if Rishi understood,why his son's films take years to release..

at 40 with 19 years in industry Rishi Kapoor already had 25 hits and 15 of those were big grosses i.e above 200cr adj net gross. 

And Ranbir Kapoor now he is 38 with 14 years in industry he only have 5 hits and only 2 of them are 200cr+ adj  net grosses 

Comparing Rishi Kapoor with Ranbir Is like comparing SRK with Boby Deol  

I Like Ranbir as an actor , but Rishiji was a  very big star..   Bobby and Heer Ranjha are 500 cr and 300 cr adjusted for inflation.

I don't  blame people for not knowing that , coz the fake PR of this generation makes us believe anything

Most films in the list is before he  touched 35. 

Ranbir has only 2 blockbusters Sanju and YJHD (180cr) and he is  38 yrs old . I rest my case
