Karan is working for the military force. On that day, Karan and his team had destroyed the terrorists and had accomplished their mission. 

Preeta had completed her college degree but didn't dare to face her father as she had completed her studies against his wishes. 

The Commander said, "Well done, Karan. You have done a great job. You deserve to get rewarded."

Karan: Thank you, Sir. 

Karan gets the bravery award.

Karan went to the Commander and said, "I have not been to my house for a long time. I need two months' leave as I plan to get married."

The Commander said, "Leave approved. Enjoy yourself."

Karan & Preeta wait for the bus.

Some goons attack Preeta.

Karan saves her from the goons.

The bus arrives.

Both get on the bus.

Preeta takes a bus towards Lonavala.

Karan is on the way to Mumbai.

The bus stops at Lonavala.

Preeta gets down and goes near the water spring.

Karan gets down to have food.

He sees Preeta near the spring and goes to save her.

Suddenly, her legs slip, and she holds the rock.

Karan tries to bring her up, but he fails.

Both fall into the river. 

Karan saves Preeta from getting drowned and gets her back.

After she recovers, Karan says, "Don't you know that life is precious? If you wanted to die, you should have told me. I wouldn't have saved you from these goons."

Flashback

While they were waiting for the bus, Karan thinks of making a friendship with Preeta.

Karan: I am Karan.

Preeta: I heard a lot about you. I guess you are the same military person.

Karan: Yes, you are right. I am getting the water bottle for the journey.

Flashback ends

Preeta cries, "What's the point in living? I wanted freedom, and my grandma supported me. But my dad is very much displeased. Now that my studies are complete, I must return to my place. My dad is an old-timer, and he will kill me. Instead of that, it is better that I kill myself."

Karan: Your dad would be proud of you.

Preeta: No, you don't know him. He wanted to get me married. Even in the hostel, I got a call from my aunt. 

Flashback

Baljeet: There is a good proposal for you. Take the ticket and come home immediately.

Preeta: I cannot marry now. I have to complete my studies.

Baljeet: No matter how much a woman studies, she must get married and care for the house and kitchen. You won't get good proposals again and again.

Preeta: Nowadays, many girls want to marry someone of their choice. Even I want to have a love marriage.

Baljeet: What? Do you have a boyfriend?

Preeta: If I say yes, what will you do? I have already married.

She puts down the phone.

Baljeet: What a disaster! Preeta has married secretly.

Ramesh: Preeta has caused disgrace to my name. From now on, I have no relationship with her. She is dead for me. If I see her, I will kill her. 

Flashback ends

Preeta: Those goons were none other than the ones sent by my father. I had lied to Baljeet about my marriage.

Karan: I will drop you at your place and act as your husband.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi's old love, Ronit, approaches her.

Ronit: I know that it's too late for me to come and propose to you. I could not get back to you as my parents were against our relationship. My mom had threatened me that she would kill herself if I married you. 

Sonakshi: Yes, you are late. I had come to your house and returned as soon as I learned that you got engaged to Indira.

Ronit: Trust me, I had to do it out of force. But no one knew her true colors. My mom has always been status-conscious. I still love you, and my parents have agreed to our marriage.

He went to Sonakshi's parents and said, "I love Sonakshi, and I want to marry her. Even she loves me."

Anand & Bela: Sonakshi, why didn't you tell us you love Karan?

Sonakshi: I was about to tell, but when Ronit got engaged, I agreed to move on with Ronit. If you permit me.

Anand called Rajendra and said, "Anand hasn't yet forgotten her past. She got back her lost love. If we proceed with the wedding, no one will be happy."

Rajendra: No problem. It's good that you have informed me. 

Mataji: How did you let them break the relationship? If they were not interested, then why did they bring the proposal?

Sujata: No, it's nothing like that. They are our friends. We understand each other.

Meanwhile, Karan and Preeta reach home.

Preeta's grandmother, Amba, said, "Preeta has come with her husband."

Everyone is happy except Ramesh.

He came out and said, "Stop here." 

But Ramaa and Amba said, "Let them enter the house first. Later on, we will always discuss."

Ramaa shows all the rooms to Karan and gives Preeta's room to them.
