Part 18

 

Angad and kripa held each other for a couple of moments when finally angad parted, looking down he said, A- I'm sorry I know you didn't want to but thanks and he got to leave when she suddenly grabbed his hand, surprised he turned to face her, K- what are friends for right she said with a smile. Angad just nodded and gave a slight smile and left the room leaving a sighing kripa.  Angad walked out of the room he didn't want to stay at this party any longer , he was about to walk out of the door when he heard simone's voice behind him, S- angad where do you think you are going ?, A- oh umm I 'm actually tired simone I'll see ya tomorrow I guess , S- I think not, A- what do you mean he said giving a confused look, S- well because one your not going any where come on come and dance with me, before angad could cut her off, she had already dragged him to the dance floor , she took his hands and put them around her waist , and hers on his shoulder, she looked up at josh who was standing with kripa and gave him the signal, josh grinned and nodded as he was listening to kripa

 

J- hey kripa look over there, K huh, J- at simone, you know I think she likes angad, they makes a cute pair don't you think, kripa finally looked away from josh and on to angad and simone, she felt her heart sting looking at his hands that were placed around her waist , why did it feel only she had the right, no she didn't what was she thinking, J- don't you think, K- yeah they do…I guess she said softly hoping josh wouldn't hear but he did.

 

 

K- uh josh excuse me I'll be right back, J- no ,no let's go and dance I've been so bored just standing here, K- but josh, J- no come on you can't do it for your friend, but before she could reply they were already on their way to the dance floor. Kripa danced with josh, who was smiling or more like grinning, looking at Simone who did the same, while angad and kripa both thinking about the other. Soon the dance floor formed into a circle as everyone began to switch partners, kripa went from guy to guy , when finally she reached none other than angad.

 

 

They both just looked at each other not knowing what to do when kripa was about to place her hand on his shoulder , angad grabbed her hand and smile while kripa just looked at him confused, he turned his face to the side where Rohan stood close by chatting with some people , A- Rohan he shouted, and signaled him to take over, of course Rohan happily smiled and made his way over to the dance. A-well good night kripa and he left her standing their alone, well according to her, all alone, feeling as if part of her life was walking away and before she knew she was dancing with Rohan while her eyes followed angad all the way till he left the place.

 

 

 

 

Ding dong! kripa got up from the sofa and walked over to open the door, surprised to see simone. S- hey kripa, k- uhh hi, s- sorry did I interrupt anything or, k- uh no come in, s- thanks, and they made their way to the living room. K- soo, S- uh well tonight I'm having a little dinner and I wanted to invite josh and Rohan have a lot of caching up still to do so I just wanted to tell and you to of course I would love if you come after all I don't want to be the only women between three guys , K- three?, S- yeh Rohan, josh and angad she said smiling, K- oh umm I don't think I can make it simone, S- no please kripa please, I thought you were my friend and I promise I'm a pretty good cook she said laughing, K- uhh, S- I take that as a yes , great I'll see both of you at my place around 6, don't be late and she left showing herself the way out. Kripa sighed and continued to watch her tv.

 

Josh knocked on Kripa's door, J- you ready he said yelling from outside when kripa opened the door, K- ya , sorry I was just brushing my hair, josh just smiled and complimented her, J- you look nice , K- thanks shall we go, J-sure let's go and they both left for simone's place. They arrived at simone's place half an hour later, josh pressed the door bell and to both their surprise they were greeted by a laughing angad you wore jeans and a black shirt, S- who is it angad simone said from behind. S- oh hey you to I'm so glad you came , she said kissing josh's and Kripa's cheeks, J- okay now let us in I'm quite hungry he said laughing, and he walked into the apartment while josh and Angad patted each other's back, kripa took her shoes and walked into the apartment, she gave a smile to angad who just mouthed a small hi and walked away , disappointed kripa just sat down quietly on the sofa next to josh.

 

Few minutes later  simone came out of the kitchen with some wine and snacks, A- oh do you need help, he aid taking the drinks, S- thanks, A- np, K- uh simone do you soda or anything I don't drink, S- uh yeh sure what would you like, K- um anything's fine, S- okay I'll bring you a coke, K- thanks and she left for the kitchen coming back a few minutes later. J- so when is Rohan going to be coming he asked but grinning inside as he knew the truth, S- oh he said he couldn't make it , something I come I guess, J- oh what a shame right kripa he said winking at her , to tease, kripa just smiled and got a quick glance of angad who continuously looked at her when simone got his attention. S- how about some vodka guys, A- uh nah I think I'll pass, S- no please come on josh let's enjoy, pretty please, J- come on Angad have one with us and then you continue to drink wine after if you don't want any more, A- uhh okay but only one , S- okay.

 

What turned out to be one changed into many, as they chatted they continued to drink, causing angad to be quite drunk , or shall I say very, while simone also acted to very "drunk". S- oh angad you're so funny she said rubbing her hand down his arm, which caught Kripa's eye. S- Seriously you're so sweet that you know what I think I have a huge crush on you she laughing, while josh grinned at her perfect acting skills, J- gosh where had she learn. Kripa on the other hand just wanted to leave from there she didn't like all this nonsense and especially a drunk Simone complimenting angad, who just smiled and smiled. A- Thanks simone you're a very sweet girl he said not knowing what he was saying as he was drunk. S- thank you I'm very flattered actually I'm so flattered that, she said getting on her knee and taking Angad's hand, S- will you marry me angad, Kripa's heart did a huge flip and then sunk, no she didn't like that all, angad and simone noo, how could he how could she , A- why of course it would be my pleasure he replied of course he was drunk so he was talking nonsense, Kripa's heart sank further , no he would never. When she heard angad and simone burst out laughing, J- hahaha good joke guys, S- who said it was a joke right angad she said winking, who just grinned and nodded, josh looked at kripa and obviously saw she was getting hurt and gave a signal to simone to stop who finally got the hint, S- okay hahaha okay it was joke , but what a good joke right kripa, K- umm yeh it was she said lying she said looking at angad who looked at simone.

 

They had dinner quickly and the three decided to leave, S- angad I think you should catch cab and leave your car here you're too drunk to drive, A- hmm okay, J- if you want I can drop him, A- no josh it' okay to much problem any way thanks for the dinner I really enjoyed myself I haven't laughed this long in ages he said quickly glancing at kripa who caught him. S- Bye and she closed the door smiling, S- yes.

Josh sat in the car and waited for kripa to sit, as she did she saw angad getting into the taxi well trying but he was quite tipsy, would he be able to reach home safely she thought, K- Uh josh you go I have to go and do something, I'll catch a cab. J- what at this time it's 10, K- please don't asks so many questions, J- fine but call me okay he said knowing what really her plan was. K- Okay thanks bye and josh left. She quickly ran to angad , who luckily hadn't left, she got into the cab and told the driver the address who sighed waiting so long for angad to tell him where to go and they were off.

 

Kripa looked at angad who was continuously chatting nonsense with the cabdriver, sighing she turned to face the other way. After twenty minutes or so they arrived in front of Angad's place, kripa aid the driver and helped angad out of the cab and into the house. They care fully walked up the stairs and into his bedroom. Kripa helped him on the bed when he fell down on the bed grabbing her to , kripa was about to get up when angad tightened his grip around her waist, hugging her with his arms, while his head was on her lap. K- angad let me go, A- no please don't go , I don' want to be alone , K- angad I need to go, A- no I won't let you, please I won't talk just stay he, she sighed he was drunk and there was no point arguing she would leave as soon as he was in deep sleep. K- okay , angad smiled to himself and hugged her tighter , while se couldn't help herself from ruffling her hand through his hair, soon she her eyes started to close slowly slowly and before she knew it she was asleep , until she turned uncomfortable with her position she moved around until she was comfortable which was hugging angad and she fell into deep sleep.
