Angad stomped out of the room, the others guys laughed before heading out of the room after him, Kripa watched all of this from the garden and wished the family's happiness stayed intact forever

 

 

Marriage preperations have been in full swing for the past few weeks in the Khanna house, Angad, Kripa and Lakshya have been busy finalising all the details, now its the wedding day and the baraat is about to leave from the Khanna house, only.....Sujal and Kavya are still in the bathroom getting changed. Angad bangs on the door

 

A - bhaiya! get out before mom leaves without you!

Ka - she won't leave without us, if we're not there then there's no wedding! bhaiya that's my shirt!

A - ok but if you don't turn up then Kashish and Anjali will kill you two!

 

The door opens and Sujal pokes his head out

 

S - go stall

A - what?

S - go quick

A - but..

S - you're still standing there GO!

 

Angad groans and heads downstairs where Kripa, wearing a bright blue saree, is making sure Lakshya has the wedding rings. Angad taps her on the shoulder, Kripa turns around and looks at Angad who's matching with her wearing a white and blue shervani

 

K - what?

A - there's a problem

K - what is it?

A - Sujal bhaiya and Kavya bhaiya are still in the bathroom

K - oh my gosh, aunty is going to kill them

A - I know, that's why they told me to stall

K - how?

A - I have an idea

K - what?

A - sit on the floor

 

Kripa looked at him like he was speaking gibberish but Angad nodded his head

 

A - sit....now

K - in this?

A - just do it

 

Kripa hesitantly sat on the floor

 

A - now hold your ankle

K - ok.....

 

Kripa holds her ankle while Angad screams on the top of his voice

 

A - mom!!! dad!!! Kripa's hurt herself!

K - huh what?

 

Kripa is about to get up when Angad puts his hand on her shoulder and pushes her down, Naina comes

 

N - what happened

A - I told her not to wear such high heels, look she tripped and has hurt her ankle

 

Angad glared at Kripa who held her ankle and began pretending it hurt

 

N - oh no, how bad is it

K - I don't know, I'll try getting up

 

Angad holds her hand, Kripa tries to get up but pretends to wince in pain, Naina holds her other hand and helps her sit on the stairs

 

N - well how will you attend the wedding?

K - I don't know

N - ok we can leave now, Angad you come with Kripa

A - huh? no no we'll go together, let Kripa rest here for a while

N - fine

 

Naina goes, Angad sits by Kripa

 

K - go see if they're ready, and if they're not then get them to hurry up

A - ok

 

Angad goes upstairs and knocks on the bathroom door

 

Ka - what?

A - are you guys done yet?

S - no

A - ugh, open the door

Ka - why?

A - just do it

 

Kavya opens the door, Angad goes inside and sees a mess on the floor with Sujal standing there topless and Kavya without his trousers

 

A - what the heck happened here?

S - he...(points to Kavya) put my shirt on and it ripped!

Ka - and he...(points to Sujal) stepped on my trousers while I was putting them on and they ripped!

 

Angad held his forehead

 

A - I'm getting mom

S/Ka - no! please!

A - fine, ok wait here

 

Angad leaves the bathroom and comes back with two different shervanis and hands them to Sujal and Kavya

 

A - put these on, if mom asks why you are wearing these then say you liked them better

Ka - you're a genius

A - I know, now hurry up!

 

Kavya and Sujal get changed and after Angad helps them with their turbans, the three guys head downstairs where Naina is bandaging Kripa's ankle, Sujal looks at Angad

 

S - what happened to her?

A - aw crap

 

Angad rushes downstairs and gets rid of Naina and takes the bandage off Kripa's ankle

 

A - pretend you're ok now

 

Kripa stands up and goes to Naina

 

K - my foot is fine now, shall we go?

N - where are the boys

K - outside

 

Naina goes into the hallway and sees her four sons standing there looking bored, she smiles seeing Lakshya wearing a black and gold shervani then frowns at Sujal who is wearing a red and gold shervani and Kavya who is wearing a cream and gold shervani 

 

N - I gave you two matching ones! what happened?

S - we...prefered these ones

Ka - yeah mom we're not kids anymore that you can dress us the same, heck we're not even twins

N - but

A - mom leave it, they're looking fine

N - ok let me get your dad then we'll leave

A - cool

 

Naina runs off, Kripa goes to Angad

 

K - shall we sit in the car?

A - I think mum wnats to do aarti first

K - ok

 

Naina comes back with Dilip and does the aarti on Sujal and Kavya then the family leaves for the Sinha house where both weddings are taking place. The Sinha house is fully decorated and Kashish's mom Veena and Anjali's mom Nitya welcome the Khanna family. Kripa heads to the room where Kashish and Anjali are, she knocks on the door

 

K - can i come in?

Kas - of course!

 

Kripa opens the door and sees Kashish wearing a red and gold lengha and Anjali wearing a cream and gold lengha, Kripa laughs

 

An - what's so funny?

K - Sujal and Kavya ruined the shervanis they were meant to wear for the wedding so Angad gave them two different ones and what a coincidence they match with your outfits

Kas - really? wow that is a coincidence, come sit Kripa

 

Kripa sits by them and helps Anjali put her necklace on

 

K - excited?

An - excited...nervous...scared

Kas - happy....sad, everything

K - well its a big day for both of you

An - yeah it won't be long before it's you and Angad

K - oh....it will be long...very long, I'm not ready for marriage yet

Kas - that's what we said when we had the marriage proposals from Sujal and Kavya, but now look, we're getting married

K - yeah....

An - so how do they look?

K - who?

Kas - Sujal

An - and Kavya

K - oh they look great, perfect for you

 

Kripa gives them both a hug then excuses herself and joins Angad and Lakshya who are standing by the mandaps where Sujal and Kavya are sitting, Kripa nudges Angad

 

K - why is it so dull? this is meant to be a wedding, shouldn't there be lots of music and dance

A - go on then, why are you standing here, go dance

K - its your brothers weddings, you go dance

A - fine I will, come on Lakshya

 

Kripa laughs as Angad and Lakshya walk off.
