Yuvika Chaudhary says 'didn't know the meaning of bhangi' as netizens call for arrest

The internet can be overwhelming at times and to say that everyone is under severe scrutiny, is an understatement. Celebrities and other public figures often find themselves being the subject of trolls and while sometimes, netizens do go a little far, other times, they urge corrective measures. This time around, actress Yuvika Chaudhary has been called out by netizens for using the word 'bhangi' incorrectly and in fact, have called for an arrest.

Yuvika's video, where she is seen talking about how she always turns up looking like a 'bhangi' in the vlogs has not gone down very well with netizens and this has lead to people calling her out, and also, trending #arrestYuvikaChaudhary on social media. While some are mad about how such casteist remarks continue to flourish, others are furious about how people are negligent about certain facts. 

Yuvika has now taken to social media as she apologized and wrote how she did not know the meaning of the word she used and she did not mean to hurt anyone and that she would never do that. 

A while ago, Munmun Dutta, seen in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and was also slammed for using the word 'bhangi' incorrectly in one of her videos. Later, she also issued an apology and added that she was unaware of the real meaning of the word and never intended to hurt the sentiments of anyone.
