Years of experience but, no sense to think before speaking

Says actress Kriti Kharbanda, while lashing out on Hina Khan's comment on South Indian Cinema on a popular reality show, hosted by Salman Khan.

TV actress Hina Khan who is one of the contestants on a popular reality show Bigg Boss, recently in a candid discussion with the housemates, the actress revealed that she was offered two big films down South. However, she turned them down because it required her to put on weight. The South Indian industry prefers "bulging" women, said the actress.

During a recent interaction, the Kriti Kharbanda who is a popular name down south and made her Bollywood debut with Raaz Reboot last year shared us that she felt the comment made by the popular TV actress Hina Khan was stupid and obnoxious.

"According to me, the statement that she made was slightly obnoxious, a little stupid. I would not even say naive because she is not naive she is an adult. It's a very stupid comment. We all do things for our films. if tomorrow I am asked to gain 10 kgs for a role, I would happily do it. To each their own. Not all men like the women in a certain way...I mean, it's a very wide statement. I don't know how someone of that calibre and who has been in this industry for so many years didn't have that much sense to think before she spoke. I am sorry but, South Indian industry is huge and not everyone gets a chance to be a part of it," said Kharbanda.

She further adds, "Probably there are many actresses who think that way but, it's bad for them. We have made our grounds in the south and we are very happy doing South Cinema and there are some very big names down there. "

Post Raaz Reboot Kriti is all set for her second Bollywood film, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana opposite Rajkumar Rao. When asked her what does she enjoy the most South or Hindi cinema, she said, "I just enjoy films. It's an honour to do a Bollywood, a Bengali or any other language film. For me cinema is cinema, the problems lie as people have always defined languages."

Meanwhile, talking about her film, directed by Ratna Sinha and produced by Vinod Bachchan, Manju Bachchan and Kaleem Khan it is set to release on November 10, 2017.

She did 1 popular show, got one call from south (which she says) and she thinks she knows everything about south industry? This just shows her ignorance and mainly arrogance. And it is a pity that other contestants were just sitting there, listening... Which proved they are fools too.
