Yashashri Masurkar to have a working Diwali

Yashashri Masurkar, who is currently seen in Dabangii: Mulgii Aayi Re Aayi, is going to be working on Diwali this year. However, she is trying to spend time with her family as well. 

“This year, I will be shooting on Diwali but I am planning to spend as much time at home as I can. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home, and they are terrified of the noises. It is sad that we celebrate festivals in a way that’s harmful for others. Loud music, and fireworks irks me…I wish we all could celebrate every festival in a simple way like old times,” she says.

She adds, “Every Diwali, I get pretty excited about buying decorations, flowers and Rangoli colours. I like faral that we make at home- Chakli, karanji and chiwda are my favourites though.”

Talking about what she will be wearing, she says, “I believe in reusing clothes that I already own so I am thinking of raiding mom’s closet for pretty sarees. This time is hectic, but it’s fun as well. It’s the time that we get to spend with friends and family, and so, it, in fact, recharges me instead of getting me tired.”
