Bollywood actress Yami Gautam and director Aditya Dhar took all of us by a sweet surprise when they announced their wedding on social media. The duo tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Himachal Pradesh in presence of only family members.
Yami and Aditya’s wedding was not just a low key affair but also an eco friendly one. Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying who shared details from the celebrity wedding, but in a simplistic celebration.
As per the source, Yami and Aditya had opted for no wastage policy and decided to give a fancy wedding ceremony a pass. Instead, they performed all the rituals and functions at Yami’s farmhouse in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh over two days. Right from keeping the decor natural to no food wastage, the couple ensured an eco friendly wedding.

The source also shares that Yami’s brother Ojas Gautam had clicked the photographs at the wedding. Speaking of the mandap, it was traditionally decorated with marigold flowers, banana leaves, bricks, and Rangoli.
Previously, an Instagram page with the name ‘Wedding Blogger’ had revealed that Yami wore her mother Anjali Gautam’s saree for her wedding day. She also did her own makeup as she opted for a simple look for her special day.
Yami’s Wedding planner Gitesh Sharma had also revealed that he was contacted by the actress’ father just a day before the wedding ceremonies began and it was a close knit affair.
