The news about Sidhant Gupta's exit from Zee TV show Tashan-E-Ishq saddened many viewers. Sidhant shined out as Kunj in the show and his chemistry with Twinkle (Jasmine Bhasin) mesmerised many viewers.Â

However, all you fans can rejoice now. While we pondered about the reason behind his exit, our sources confirm that he is all geared up to prove his mettle into the field of dancing.

With the latest season of Jhalak Dikhhla Ja coming up, a lot of actors have been approached, one of them being Sidhant Gupta.

A source informed, "Sidhant had mentioned that he quit the show as he received a better opportunity to boost his career. He has been finalised as one of the participants on the dance reality show."

We tried contacting Sidhant, however, he remained unavailable for a comment.

Honestly I'm surprised especially as Sidhant Gupta always expressed his love and passion for acting. Thought his project was a movie, however he's someone who gives nothing but his best so I'm sure he will do great. Loved him as Kunj Sarna on Tashan E Ishq

Loved him as kunj. Kjho has been judged so many reality shows on colors but to my knowledge he did not even take one person in his films. So i doubt Sidhant will have that chance (if kjohar is one of the judges). Its a risky decision he took. But still al the best

People usually do JDJ to boost their career, yes, but your career has to be in the dumps for it to be boosed. Sidhant was flying high with TEI and was only going to go higher, he would have eventually gotten film roles ..look at Sushant Singh Rajput. He did TV for 4-5 years before moving onto reality TV then cinema...let's see what happens. Hope he gets far in the show for his sake. Good luck to him.

Hopefully he returns to the show honestly. If JDJ is a big project then idk what to say. As an actor he's pretty talented so a movie maybe would've been a better project to leave for.
