WHAAT?? 'Sasural Simar Ka' to adapt 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi's central plot?

Colors' show, 'Sasural Simar Ka' has breathed fresh air since it has practiced the leap. The show has managed to climb its way back into the Top 10 since the past few weeks.

While, the story is now building up towards a new track, where we reported about the entry of actor Siddharth Shivpuri as Vikram in the show. Vikram will be coming in being the prospective groom for Anjali (Vaishali Takkar), Simar (Dipika Kakar) and Prem's (Dheeraj Dhoopar) daughter.

However, it seems the show, which has been infamous in recent times for 'adapting' content from other shows, has done the same this time around too.

Yes, this prospective groom track will also be marking the entry of actress Shweta Gautam who was last seen in 'Krishnadasi'.

Shweta will be playing the role of 'Saroj taiji' (aunt) to Vikram. Wondering how is it similar to the plot of 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi'?

Well, it will be shown that Vikram is very close to Saroj and Saroj would love Vikram dearly. However, the loving and caring personality of Saroj will witness a lot of changes as she will learn about Vikram being the prospective groom for Anjali. She would in fact feel insecure that her love for Vikram will be divided.

Ring a bell?? Of course, it does. The central plot of 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' is the same where Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) loves her son, Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) so much that she fears when the prospect of him getting married to Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) arrives.

Well, even if it is a coincidence, the similarity of the plot is quite uncanny, isn't it?
