We saw 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani' teaser exclusively; here's what we thought about it

It is no secret the kind of buzz & noise that Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani has managed to create so far. Right from the fact that Karan Johar returns to the director's chair after seven years in the year of his 25th anniversary to Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt being paired once again (after Gully Boy) and having legends like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan be a part of the ensemble - it has everything going for itself.

I had the opportunity to watch the teaser (that is set to release tomorrow) exclusively beforehand and here is what I think about it-

Even in a short span of over a minute, the teaser exhibits a story in itself. Beginning with love, continuing with dance and colors, and ending with drama and family dynamics.

The teaser is as quintessentially unabashed Karan Johar as it can get. Johar seems to be going back to what makes him one of the most celebrated directors and known for his signature style. The sheer grandeur and scale that the teaser showcases is what we love Karan Johar for and has been iconic all these years.

The loved on-screen pairing of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt (after Gully Boy) returns and both these talented actors look vibrant and radiant on-screen. Especially, Bhatt is undoubtedly at her beautiful best and hey, there are atleast over 10 sarees in the teaser itself. That's Karan Johar for you!

Adding to that, we have legends like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan playing pivotal characters. While Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi collaborate with Johar for the first time, Jaya Bachchan returns to work with Johar after the fantastic collaboration they had in the form of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum.

Love, laughter, colors, drama and just true blue big screen experience - that is what Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani promises from the teaser itself.
