Vineett Kumar The family guy!

. And why wouldn't he be? For his role of Daljit in Star Plus'  Sabki Laadli Bebo has given him ample space to grow as an actor. And it has earned him a lot of fame too! But all the fame and recognition hasn't pulled him off his roots and he still remains a humble guy for whom family is priority.

Vineett says, "I struggled in this field for around three to four years. After which I got a break in Zee's Meri Doli Tere Angna. However, it's in Sabki Laadli Bebo that I got a proper break. For through the role of Daljit(one of Bebo's brothers) I got the opportunity to try a lot of variations when it came to emoting. I also earned recognition through this role. Many people compliment me through various social networking sites on a job well done (smiles)."

Vineett elaborates on how Daljit's role helped him become a better actor. "When Daljit's character started it was more of a comic role. With Bebo's marriage, Daljit had to get very emotional.  When Karan Oberoi entered, Daljit had to get into the protective mode to shield his sister. This was the time when Daljit had to express a lot of aggressiveness too. So just with one role, I got to portray many different faces," says Vineett.

Because this role has given him so much scope he prefers to stick to it. Vineett says, "I get a lot of other offers from various production houses. But I have made me decision to stay loyal to Sabki Laadli Bebo. Except for an international film that required the shooting to be done in Iran, I rejected all the offers."

Vineett and co-actor Kanwaljit Singh share a very special bond. Vineett says, "Onscreen, Kanwaljitji is my father. Offscreen, he is a friend who is like a father to me. He truly is a warm and kindhearted person. For me, working with Kanwaljitji in television is like working with Amitabh Bachchan in Bollywood."

Apparently, Vineett draws a lot of similarities between him and his character Daljit. "Just like Daljit, I'm also a person who is very close to my family. Also, as I'm the only child to my parents, I'm more conscious of fulfilling their every wish. I feel, since parents sacrifice so much while bringing their kids up, it's the duty of every son and daughter to take care of them when the time comes," he signs off.
