Vikas Gupta: Season 2 of Ace of Space Will be Much Bigger!

We had exclusively reported about Vikas Gupta coming back as host for the second season of Ace of Space. MTV's popular show Ace of Space, is an interesting mix of Bigg Boss and Crunch. As per the show's format, several contestants are locked up inside rooms and the number (of contestants) diminish after each task. For Season 1, ace television producer and Big Boss 11 contestant, Vikas Gupta was roped in to play mastermind on the show. 

India Forums got in touch with Vikas who told us, "Yes, I am hosting season 2. It was true that I was not hosting season 2 as it was supposed to come back within three month and that time I had some prior commitment due to which I said no. The makers  did approach few popular names but things didn't work out. The makers then decided to wait and when they approached me again, I was in a position to manage my dates. Season 1 of Ace of Space was very successful and this season it is much bigger and so much fun. Last season, the show had head and heart but this season contestants will have something new which will be interesting."

After season 1 fared reasonably well in terms of viewership, the channel announced the renewal of the show. In between, there was news that the makers were planning to get someone else to bring in a newness. For the same, the names of Karan Patel and Rana Daggubati were doing the rounds in the media reports.
