Talking about the same the Arjun Reddy star said,

"It's not easy, if somebody wants to attend it. It is probably the single hardest thing I had to do in life is to just find a platform where your voice is heard as an actor."

He further revealed his journey from doing plays till date signing films like Arjun Reddy and Liger. Vijay said,

"I did theater first. When I finished theater, I thought that mai announce karunga mai actor banna chahata hu and producers will lineup then suddenly I realised that you can't even get attention of anybody kyuki jab mai plays karta tha I would do one play and then there used to be three theater groups waiting for me to offer me their play ek aur karta tha aur teen aur group aate the and I did six plays back to back, so I thought whenever I'm ready all the directors will come and producers will come I'll debut and I'll become and actor."

Vijay also talked about his struggling days when he used to check websites who would post about casting calls. Talking about it Deverakonda said,

"Then there were these film websites jisme auditon calls aate the. If somebody are launching newcomers so everyday yehi job hota hai subhe uthke hi refresh karte hai vo page kuch casting call aya toh photos bhejenge ,office jayenge before going to bed mai teen baar check karta tha casting calls then from one of my play somebody spotted me, I did a small role phir ek casting call aya ek bada sa director named Shekhar Kamla I went to the audition where I played a supporting role and again it was a break of one year no work."

The Dear Comrade actor then revealed that an debutant director offered him a second lead role. And that film was a hit with good reviews after which he thought that now he will get good work but unfortunately after that people kept offering him supporting roles but he wanted to do something big.

Vijay Deverakonda's still from Pelli Choopulu

Well Arjun then revealed how his name to fame happened. Narrating the same he said,

"Slowly, me and my friends made a film 'Pelli Choopulu' we made it in 60 lakhs. We raised some money from two investors. We made the film & none of us took any money out of it. And then we struggled a lot to release it and finally when it released it opened very small but went on to make 25-30Cr and won a national award. That launched me, suddenly everyone knew me. That was my first film as a solo lead which released in 2016 then Arjun Reddy in 2017 and after that I was never out of work."

Needless to say hardwork definitely pays off and it has for Vijay. Recently the films song. 'Aafat' was out and fans just can't stop grooving on the quirky beats. Liger is all set to release on 25th August.
