Vijay Deverakonda on his promotion tours: I was very intimidated whenever I had to speak so much Hindi

An array of exciting films are set to hit the big screens in the coming few days and one of them is Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger. The sports drama is a pan-Indian film helmed by Puri Jagannadh.

The actors Vijay and Ananya have been on a promotional spree since the past few days and have had various fan interactions.

Recently the duo addressed the media at a special meet and talked extensively about their film, the love the actors are garnering and other things. Talking about the same Vijay was questioned , seeing the response that you are getting from the city tour for promotions and the love the fans are giving, are you feeling overwhelmed and do you feel that yes success is here?

Responding to this Deverakona said, 

"when we were starting the promotions, I came with the mindset of introducing myself. I was very intimidated whenever I had to speak so much Hindi. Every time we go to a new city, the city looks so big and every time it's intimidating. I was like all new cities, new people, okay I'll introduce myself I'll tell I am Vijay Deverakonda. I know that I made a terrific film, I'll talk about the film and hopefully ask them to watch it."

Talking further he said, 

"I came to Bombay and I entered the mall and people were just screaming Vijay Vijay. When I went to Patna, Ahmedabad, the same happened, so suddenly my whole plan of promotion got confusing. So now I am like what do I talk, they already know me toh ab kya baat karu so I had to come up with something else then I just decided that okay apparently they love you so just chill with them and talk to them and have fun with them.  So I decided to stop making it a promotion and just enjoy the affection and love that is coming my way. When I go to bed at night, I still don't know why this is happening exactly, but I feel the love and feel like I need to give them a great cinema in return for this love."

Liger is slated to hit the theatres on 25th August, 2022 and will be released in 5 languages.
