'Venom' Sequel Gets Delayed; Also Gets a New Title
The movie had been set to hit theaters on Oct. 2, 2020. It will now go out on June 25, 2021, the date formerly occupied by Warner Bros.' Batman reboot.

Yet another day and get another piece of news about a film getting delayed owing to coronavirus pandemic. The much-awaited sequel to Tom Hardy starrer Venom has now officially been delayed to 2021.
The movie had been set to hit theaters on Oct. 2, 2020. It will now go out on June 25, 2021, the date formerly occupied by Warner Bros.' Batman reboot. It, however, got a new title too where the sequel will be called Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Andy Serkis is directing Venom 2, which sees Tom Hardy reprise his role as the titular character. In 2018, Venom turned into a sleeper hit at the global box office on its way to earning $856 million.
