Everything was going perfect on the sets of Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan's Coolie No 1 until an unfortunate event occurred and messed up everything, leaving the Dhawans furious and disappointed.

As per reports in Spotboye, Varun and David Dhawan received a huge shock when their trusted driver, Manoj who has been working for many years and has also been Varun's personal driver misbehaved with a female employee on the sets of their upcoming film. The source states that this incident became a topic of discussion on set within the crew members.

The whole team of Coolie No 1 was busy shooting when a female crew member approached Varun and complained about his driver's misbehavior with her leaving him furious. Soon the matters turned worse and the shoot was stalled. Upon hearing the girl's complaint, both Varun and David lost their cool and decided to intervene and first resolve the issue before shooting any further.

This happened a week ago when David was shooting a scene with Varun at ND Studios in Karjat. In the middle of the shoot, the girl directly walked up to Varun and complained to the actor about the driver’s misbehavior with her. Varun was taken aback as Manoj has been one of his trusted drivers and he was equally disturbed. He didn’t know what to say, but he assured the girl that he would take strict action against the driver and soon he sacked Manoj and asked him to immediately pack his bags and leave.

Dhawans have suspended Manoj from all his duties and have barred him from entering the sets of Coolie No 1. He is currently at his hometown and will be summoned on Jan 2, 2020 by Varun who will look into the matter again and analyse it. Only time will tell if the Dhawans forgive him and let him resume his duty or free him permanently from his duties.

Coolie No 1 starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles is the official remake of the 1995 blockbuster that starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. The film is all set to release on May 1, 2020.
