Urvashi Rautela Clarifies about Buddy Kanika Kapoor's Controversy!

Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor's fifth test for coronavirus also came out to be positive and she remains to be under observation. Now, her friend Urvashi Rautela has about her coronavirus diagnosis and has claimed that Kanika is a very clean person. 

In an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Urvashi talked about her dear friend as she said, “Kanika is someone who stays very clean, she maintains her hygiene really well. So, you need to be extra careful if you do not want to contract the virus.” 

Responding to reports of Kanika attending several public events after her return from the UK, Urvashi said, “I don’t know how much of these media reports I can believe. I am just hoping that all the people who have tested positive get well soon.”

Kanika reportedly returned from the UK to Mumbai on March 9 and arrived in Lucknow two days later. She tested positive on March 20. The reports also claim that she attended several parties on her return. 

The singer’s social activities posed dangerous for everyone around her as she was tested positive for novel coronavirus. She was seen partying with several close friends and family members. The virus has infected over 1,600 people in India, and close to 9,00,000 across the world.

Urvashi continued, “I am just hoping she comes out of it fast. This virus is not targeting any class, it can happen to anybody. If it can happen to the Prime Minister of the UK, it can happen to anyone. So the people who think that nothing will happen to them are wrong.”

Kanika is presently admitted at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS). She was also criticized by the hospital administration for her ‘starry behavior’.
