Trolls go SAVAGE on Akshay Kumar for saying his films work best in Pak

An old video has surfaced and Akshay Kumar is facing the burns. Read the entire story below.

If there is one man who knows the money right in our tinsel town, it is be Akshay Kumar. His movies do brilliantly well at the box office and he has the fans singing for him for months and months. With his next release in March, we can say that Akshay Kumar has just hit his pot of hard luck.

The netizens stumbled upon a video of Mr. Kumar from a few years back where he can be heard saying that his movies do well in Pakistan. He said, "Pakistan mein meri filmein sabse zaada business karti hai. Jitna pyaar wahan se milta hai, shayad hi kahin se milta hai! (My films work best in Pakistan. The love I get from this country is more than any other place!)."

He said all this with good intent but the timings couldn't have been worse. The Twitteratti seems to be throwing abuses his way, specially the fans of Khans. They opine that if this statement were made by any of the Khans, hashtags of them being anti national would be trending for days.

While Akshay has still not replied to any of the trolls, we think it's time he shuts them up. On work front, Akshay Kumar's Kesari will be the one releasing in March and then on Diwali Housefull 4 will hit the theaters. Akshay will also be seen playing an anti terrorist squad officer Veer Sooryavanshi in Rohit Shetty's next.
