Tina Datta discusses her potential involvement in a Bollywood film

Tina Datta, known for her recent TV show "Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum," made her debut at the age of five years in the show Sister Nivedita. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Ichcha Veer Singh Bundela in the popular Hindi TV serial "Uttaran." Not only acting space, she has also earned headlines for her stint in reality shows. In an interview with Etimes, Tina Datta shares insights into her potential involvement in upcoming reality shows and offers her perspective on the rapidly evolving OTT platform.

During her recent visit to Ahmedabad, the actress reflected on her special connection with the city, her vacation plans, and her decision to steer clear of reality shows, at least for the time being. She also hinted at her potential involvement in a Bollywood film with an exciting concept and storyline, expressing hope that everything falls into place. 

Regarding reality shows, Tina Datta mentioned her reluctance to participate after a challenging experience in Bigg Boss 16. However, she didn't completely rule out the possibility, saying, "Never say never." Instead, she's currently focusing on web series, daily soaps, and films.

In the context of the entertainment industry, Tina Datta shared her perspective on the influence of OTT platforms. She believes that OTT hasn't negatively impacted TV show ratings but has, in fact, expanded opportunities for actors. She highlighted the freedom to experiment with diverse characters on OTT, which offers a stark contrast to the long-term commitments often associated with daily soaps on television.

Tina has also conveyed her fondness for Ahmedabad, which she regularly visits, especially during Navratri. Tina Datta praised the city's Navratri celebrations and its delectable cuisine, noting her proficiency in speaking a bit of Gujarati due to her numerous Gujarati friends.
