This 'Porus' actress talks about how she handles her long distance marriage

Porus actress Suhani Dhanki is currently in a happy space. The beautiful actress who plays the character of Laachi in the show will soon be seen romancing Porus (Laksh Lalwani). But talking about her romance in real life, the actress who got married in December last year, has been shuttling between Mumbai and London ever since.

Suhani shares, "Prathmesh is a financial consultant based out of London. After a year of seeing each other, we finally got hitched on December 3, 2017. We both knew that it will be a long distance marriage since our respective jobs are based out of London and Mumbai respectively".

"Life has been a roller coaster ride off late. Since Porus is shot in Umergaon (located in Gujarat border), I pack up from sets, directly go to Mumbai airport and leave for London. After spending 5 days in London with my husband, I come back and directly start shooting for Porus. It seems like a day-night shift for me, because London-Mumbai takes approx 12 hours and then another 4 hours of road travel to Umergaon and then another 12 hours of shoot", says Suhani who is happily managing professional and personal life.

Talking about how she manages to maintain calm with her long distance marriage the actor says, "Well, it will be wrong on my part to say that it is easy. There are multiple stress points for that matter. To mention a few, he has an 8 hour corporate job with fixed timings, my shoot schedule is erratic with no guarantee of timings (can be day or night), then comes the major time difference of 12 hours between UK and India. So we manage to make time and space somehow".

Probing on how she manages to make space the actress says, "I have to give it to the technology of the present era. Skype, WhatsApp calling and video calling, voice notes exchange, lovey dovey cute emoticons and the traditional mail system, all contribute towards bringing us close", signs off Suhani.

Well, from what the actress says, she sure seems to be managing well.
