Shakti Singh at Colors Launches Thapki Pyar Ki

Shakti Singh who was last seen in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke essaying the role of a strict father will be seen on Thapki...Pyaar Ki as Thapki's father. His character is polite, humble and supports her daughter to fight with the world and achieve her dreams.

Sharing his reasons for doing Thapki he says, "The first reason is that Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke wrapped up and I was looking for some good work. I was offered many roles but this interested me a lot. Best part of this character is that I am also the narrator of this show, which gave me a chance to learn something new."

Shakti Singh was last seen in Sapne Suhane and talking about the variation he "Its been one month and we all have developed very good bond. I am in good terms with Shubh who is the kid in the show, he is very naughty and have also started enacting me."

Sharing his viewpoint over the concept of the show he says, "I would say that the story is well written, however I wont say that it is different or new. It has a emotional appeal and a realistic approach which will attract audience."

When asked how far he has improved himself as an actor while doing several shows he says, "This role is completely different then my role on Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke. I was essaying a tough person's character in Sapne and in this show it is completely opposite. I am very soft, polite, emotional and very caring for my daughter, so this is like the other side of coin."

Sharing his expectations for this show he says, "First thing which we all want is that the serial should run for long time and I think that's the desire of any actor or producer. Secondly, we expect that the show gives a certain message to the audience, makers should always understand the fact that we cater to audience. So it's necessary to show good and bad thing which takes place in society. Through Thapki's problem we are trying to send a message that don't think of your disabilities as your short coming and live life positively."
